An Evening of Beauty at Heavenly Day Spa!

Tuesday, May 06, 2014

Last week I got to enjoy some girly pampering as my friend Suzanne was hosting a very special event at her "Heavenly Day Spa" all in aid of an extremely good cause, The Little Princess Trust!!

Upon entering her luxurious spa, guests were greated by "Bill and Ben" helping us to get into the charitable spirit for the Spa's "Night of Beauty" while an amazing array of prizes were up for grabs for anyone wishing to buy ballots!! (I had my eye on the Prada bag in the ballot, but alas it wasn't to be!).

The purpose of the evening was to help raise awarness and much needed funds for "The Little Princess Trust" a charity who provide real-hair wigs, free of charge, to boys and girls across the UK and Ireland that have lost their own hair through cancer treatment. Throughout the evening guests were pampered from a special "mini-treatment" menu, from mani's and pedi's, to spray tans and neck and shoulder massages, with all proceeds from the treatments going to the Little Princess Trust!!

There was a great atmosphere as ladies caught up over tea, coffee and nibbles, while yours truly took the opportunity to check out Heavenly Day Spa's full menu of Spa Treatments available!

What little girl doesn't like having her nails painted!! My friend Nicola's little girl Olivia having some sparkly nail polish applied!

But the highlight of the evening was when Spa Manager Cheryl and one of the Spa's clients, Lisa Allwell took to the floor to have their long tresses expertly cut by Carl Thomas Hairdressers from Lisburn Rd, with a total 30 inches of hair cut between them both!

An extremely enjoyable evening, all in aid of a very worthwhile cause, I was over the moon to hear that along with hair donations, the evening raised a total of £855!

I was so pleased to be able to attend such a fun event and to support the Heavenly Day Spa's fundraising efforts, and I can't wait to return soon for a little pampering myself!! (Afterall all this fashion blogging is hard work!) hehe!
