There are some events I look forward to every year, one of those being the return of the ultra glam Lady Boys of Bangkok! Last year was especially eventful, with our table being the centre point of much singing, laughter and dancing of course!

This year I'm really pleased to announce that from Bangkok to Belfast the Lady Boys of Bangkok are once again moving back into town with their latest production. So prepare to dance the night away as the stars return to Custom House Square Belfast, in ‘Beauties and the Beats’ their brand new cabaret infused show!

Those of us in attendance at the menswear show at this season’s West Coast Cooler Belfast FASHIONWEEK were treated to a sneak peek at what we can expect when the Lady Boys return to Belfast from Friday 6th November to Saturday 21st November, and I can confirm that they will certainly be adding some tantalizing Thai spice to your 2015!



This year’s furious fever-pitch of a show includes 16 of Thailand’s most alluring and arresting Lady Boys who are here in the UK for a record breaking 17th season! This blazing hot production has been composed seamlessly mixing comedy and chart topping hits with beautiful choreography from the Lady Boys; bringing you a staging like no other!

As always the fabulous Sabai Pavilion is decked out – with two fully licensed bars to help cool you down with an ice cold beverage should it get too hot to handle – and the resident chef is always on hand to delight your taste buds with some authentic Thai cuisine. From the moment you enter the foyer the smells, sights and sounds permeate the pavilion transporting you to the Lady Boys very own oriental world.

Returning to Belfast for a 7th year running, the Lady Boys of Bangkok have fast become the country’s favourite touring cabaret show, with thanks to their live and immersive performances. Creative Director Phillip Gandey said he is thrilled to be returning to Belfast “finishing a year’s tour off in one of our favourite cities. The people of Belfast truly immerse themselves in the cabaret spirit of the show and it makes the city an annual highlight in the tour diary. This year’s brand new production ‘Beauties and the Beats’ has been in the making since last November, so we’re very excited to come full circle this November and go out with a BANG in Belfast.”

Audiences should prepare to see over 400 specially designed lavish costumes – everything from fabulous feathers to diamanté draped designer-inspired couture – backed by an eclectic mix of musical genres including movie hits, superstar pop favourites and a splash of dance added to keep the rave going long into the night! With more songs and production numbers than you could shake your hips to, from Jersey Boys to The Sound of Music and even a special homage to Frozen, this year's show will once again be paying tribute to the stars of both stage and screen; old and new....from Liza to Cher and then with a glistening twirl Rhianna or Nicki!

There isn’t a beat missed, track skipped or song unknown at the Lady Boys party 2015!

As you take your seat while the cabaret lights start to dim and the curtains begin to part, you will witness the glamour glitz and glory of 16 fabulous showgirls – who just happen to be men – launch into a perfectly stylised performance, it’s official The Lady Boys of Bangkok are back in town!
