Aldo's "A List" Event proves to be a Stylish Hit!

One thing I'm constantly asked is how do you go about updating your existing wardrobe, or how can you elevate an outfit to turn it into something show stopping? Well the best place to start is accessories! From jewellery, right through to scarves, shoes and handbags, the right choice of accessories can totally transform a look!

Therefore it was with great excitement that I was recently invited to Aldo's "A-List" Event in their Belfast store! Aldo is a hidden gem, probably best known for selling shoes, however this brand is far more than a one trick pony, and actually stocks a myriad of accessories from statement jewellery to cute scarves, and a whole host of styles and sizes of handbags, from clutches to totes!

They also cater for both men and women, catering for lots of different lifestyles, so if you are looking for casual flats, or skyscraper heels, you will find a style that works for you!!

Aldo's store manager, Laura and her team are fantastic, not only can they offer advice on style and shoe fit, but they also offer a fantastic service whereby if the store doesn't have your size in stock, you can order them in, there and then and have them posted straight to your home!!!! (An invaluable service if you're like me and you find it hard to get your size in stock!)

The event was hugely enjoyable, with lots of bubbly and cupcakes and fashion banter with my fellow fashion bloggers & Aldo customers who were there to check out Aldo's latest designs! This year Aldo have stepped up to the mark, and their new team of buyers have really outdone themselves in their choices of shoe styles and leather finishes!! Top of my list was a classic pointed toe court shoe in fabulous glossy snakeskin, in vibrant red and blue, as well as the perfect nude high heels (no wardrobe is complete without them!

Accessories wise, there was lots on offer, dressy clutches and stylish totes were the big looks from Aldo, with lots of interesting hardware detailing. While a printed scarf will instantly update your winter wardrobe (and is practical too), I especially loved the camouflage prints in girly colour hues!

However in the end I ended up going for a pair of fabulous boots!!!! As regular readers will know I only wear high heels, even in winter & for me the "Bottoni" boots hit all the right style notes!!
With it's concealed platform, it makes them super comfortable and the quilting across the top gave them an interesting style edge! As soon as I saw them It was shoe love at first sight!

Wearing my new "Bottoni" boots from Aldo!

Aldo hold these event's every couple of months and I cannot recommend them highly enough, after all what girl doesn't enjoy a girly night out, centred around two of our obsessions: shoes and bags!!

Keep checking my Facebook and Twitter pages for regular updates on the next Aldo Event in Belfast (rumour has it there may be another one in time for the Christmas season!) and I hope to see you all there at the next one!
