Heels on the Hill Style Event, a Stylish Success!

Tuesday, September 30, 2014

When you live in Belfast it's easy to forget there are many hidden jems throughout Northern Ireland, providing the style conscious lady an array of fabulous independent boutiques to pick up the latest trends!

One such place is Dungannon, with a fantastic selection of independent boutiques and high street favourites, Dungannon is a top destination for fashionistas who know their style! I for one love to indulge in a little retail therapy in Dungannon, and it's Heels on The Hill style event celebrates all that is fabulous about their boutiques!

This year Heels on The Hill took place in the stylish surroundings of Hagans, Dungannon and was filled to capacity with fashionistas from all over the province! Local lady and TV Presenter Joanne Salley, (a woman who is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside!) hosted the sell-out event which saw top models from Style Academy showcase the latest Autumn / Winter looks from both high street favourites and local independent boutiques in Dungannon town centre and Linen Green.

Guests were welcomed to Hagans with a drinks reception and received a generous goodie bag jam packed with healthy treats from Little Big Shot and Linwoods, as well as fantastic discount vouchers to enjoy in Dungannon.

Style Academy's models are always amazing on the catwalk, and their models totally rocked all the fabulous trends on display at the event! The bustling atmosphere set the tone and everyone was geared up to see the latest trends for both ladies and gents. Chic tailoring, bold colours and embellishment: sparkle, twinkle and yet more sparkle were just some of the trends on display on the night!

Lucky audience members Linda Stewart from Castlecaulfied and Eleanor Hughes from Dungannon received the coveted ‘Golden Ticket’ prizes for the ultimate shopping experience in Dungannon.

Julie Ann Spence, Urban Regeneration Officer, Dungannon & South Tyrone Borough Council, said: "The evening was fashionable, fun and truly showcased the best styles available in Dungannon. We want to give a big thank you to all the local businesses and the audience members who came along to support the event."

Checking out all the amazing photos from the event I already have a massive wish list and I can't wait to nip over to Dungannon to snap up a few pieces to update my wardrobe, especially all those amazing party dresses! (Afterall a girl can never have too many party outfits leading up to the Christmas party season!).
