Sparkle in Style This Christmas!

Tuesday, December 06, 2016

Every girl loves a little sparkle in her life, and what better time to let your "inner sparkle" shine through than at Christmas? When it comes to Christmas party dressing, I love to make a statement, and one of the easiest ways to achieve this is with a LSD (Little Sequin Dress), or a fabulously glam sequin jacket! So here are my top picks of some stunning sequin pieces from George at Asda!

When I recently attended West Coast Cooler Belfast FASHIONWEEK I instantly fell in love with this gold sequin dress, in a simple shift design. This kind of look is effortless glam at it's best, for an evening look I would pair it with a pair of killer heels and cute clutch bag, or for those of us brave enough to work daytime sequins I would style it with some black opaque tights and knee high boots (or even over the knee boots!) perfect for Christmas lunch with the girls!

If however you are looking to add a little extra glam to a look or give an old outfit a Christmas makeover then what better way to do this than with a sequin jacket! I love the simplicity of a stylish blazer which can instantly smarten up a look. I really loved both this black and gold version from George, which can be thrown over an LBD, a pair of leather skinnies or even your favourite pair of jeans for instant glam!

If however you are someone who prefers a more dressed down approach to your dressing, a sequin bomber jacket may be a good option. This year bombers have been all over the high street and this slinky sliver version is a great casual alternative to the more formal feel of a blazer style.
