There is no better way to enjoy an afternoon of fashion than with good friends, fabulous food and delicious cocktails! Which was why I jumped at the chance recently to attend Evelin Brandt’s “Craving Fashion” Event at Deanes at Queens! Evelin Brandt is a boutique situated on Belfast’s premier shopping destination: the Lisburn Road, and with a plethora of fabulous labels stocked such as Sarah Pacini, Bittie Kai Rand, Evelin Brandt Berlin and many more I couldn't wait to check out the new season pieces!

When the invitation arrived I was so surprised to find with it a stunning crystal pendant filled with sparkling stones from the Evelin Brandt team! With accessories this pretty, I couldn't wait to see the clothes! As for what I was going to wear to the event, well it was all about rocking monochrome! (With my new pendant from Evelin Brandt of course!)



Deanes at Queens is the perfect place to have a fashion event, it’s long rectangular room acting as the perfect stylish runway to show off the latest pieces from the Evelin Brant store, now all we had to do was sit back and enjoy the show!

We enjoyed fabulous cocktails and simply stunning food from the team at Deanes at Queens, the beetroot salad was so light and tasty, while the chicken dish was simply melt in your mouth! In between each course we were treated to a fashion show showcasing the myriad of labels stocked in their Lisburn Road store, from Bittie Kai Rand to Comma and Cristina Gavioli as well as their Evelin Brandt Berlin label!




As for my top trends from the show, well read on………


This is a really easy way to add a trend to your wardrobe, a jacket can totally update a look, and whether you opt for a single pop of colour as with this fabulous cropped yellow jacket, or rock a neon pattern with these cool jackets from Cristina Gavioli, you will look great this season!



Obi belts have always been a firm favourite of mine! You can transform a simple dress or skirt with a fabulous leather obi belt! It can add a luxe feel to any ensemble, pull in the waist for that covetable hour glass figure or inject a pop of colour to a simple outfit! The styling opportunities with an obi belt are endless and no wardrobe is complete without one!



It was all over the Gucci AW16 catwalk ladies, so grab this trend now and you will be a step ahead in the style stakes! I'm loving this fabulous version from Summon Women, such a stylish and comfortable way to adopt the trends into your wardrobe, I love it!


This is a trend that I have already adopted into my wardrobe as they work perfectly for petite girls like myself! The straight leg adds length while the pattern adds welcome detailing to enhance my curves! Pairing it with a similar patterned top (both from Comma) or a matching cropped jacket and trousers brings the whole look together and creates a polished feel to the outfit!







Honestly ladies have you ever seen a better summer ensemble! This look is pure perfection from the wide brimmed hat, to the stunning patterned dress, and the addition of a chiffon scarf makes this my favourite look of the show!
