As temperatures rose, so did the style stakes as ladies dressed to impress at Day three of the Punchestown Racing Festival and The Real Elle Woods has all the goss from Coast's Best Dressed Competition!

Day three of the Punchestown Racing Festival saw a big improvement in weather conditions and the ladies certainly turned out in style! Today's gorgeous winner was librarian and mother of 3 Gillian Gilbourne, from Millstreet Co. Cork. Gillian brought her 5 year old son Patrick to Punchestown today as her mother minded her 2 daughters. Her husband started a new job today so couldn't attend the race meeting.

Gillian wore an exquisite blush pink tweed dress from Charlotte and Jane boutique, which was made of silk Donegal tweed. Her gloves were vintage, her pearl neck piece was from Coast, her head piece was from Edel Ramberg, a milliner based in Galway, and her mother in law made her handbag which completed the look.

Gillian was delighted to receive a EUR1,000 voucher to spend at Coast with a personal Coast By Appointment, as well as a fabulous goody bag containing a gift from Coast and a bottle of Champagne Bollinger. Each of today's finalists also received a gorgeous goody bag from Coast.

Gillian commented, 'I'm delighted to have won and am already wondering what look I can put together to come back for tomorrow's final! I might have to take a trip to Coast with my prize voucher in the morning! My husband started a new job today so couldn't be here, I have my little boy with me, he's over making bets and having a great time! My mother in law made my bag so she'll be delighted!'

Today's judges were TV3 Ireland AM presenter Sinéad Desmond, fashion editor Bairbre Power, and TV personality and broadcaster Jenny Buckley. The judges were looking for weather-appropriately dressed ladies with winning style, to win today's Coast's Best Dressed Lady prize. All three judges wore Coast this afternoon. They were also accompanied by RTE's weather and lotto presenter Nuala Carey, and Coast Marketing Director Jayne O'Keeffe, whom joined the judges on stage to present the Coast prize to Gillian.

Gillian will be invited back to enter tomorrow's final of Coast's Best Dressed Lady competition. The fantastic prize for the overall winner is an amazing jet-set international shopping spree to three flagship Coast stores around the world - to London, Madrid and New York - for the winner and a friend.

Judges were today looking for a glamorous and contemporary winner, who demonstrated a flair for style and a unique approach to their look. They certainly found this in today's winner.

Sinéad Desmond commented, "There has been stunning style today - I was overwhelmed by the amount of stunning ladies to choose from! I felt Gillian deserved the Coast prize today as she truly captivated us with her unique and understated look."

Bairbre commented, "Gillian's look was exquisite, the silk Donegal tweed was beautiful, a real timeless outfit. The headpiece by Edel Ramberg was beautiful, and she had her piece from Coast in there in the necklace she wore. We all spotted her immediately and approached her, I felt she was the winner as soon as we spoke to her. I'm looking forward to seeing her coming back tomorrow in a new ensemble."

Jenny said, "I just loved Gillian's look! She stood out for me straight away and I'm glad we all agreed on a winner! Her dress was comfortable as well as stylish, and that's what I like to see."

Tomorrow will see the Final of Coast's Best Dressed Lady at Punchestown, and X-Factor's Louis Walsh will be flying in to judge the overall winner. Other judges tomorrow include celebrity stylist Lisa Fitzpatrick, Chairman of Aurora Fashions Ian Galvin and Managing Director of Coast Margaret McDonald.
