Local designers Claire Marie Passmore and Kiera Ann Marie Phillips take time out of finishing their design collections to enjoy a coffee at Ground Espresso Bar located in Waterstone’s, Belfast. The two Northern Irish designers are among a number of locally based designers set to display their talents at the Unify Fashion Showcase, of which Ground is a sponsor.

In the run up to tonight's show I thought I would highlight one of the companies supporting the Unify Showcase, Ground Espresso Bars! Afterall us fashionista's need our daily caffeine fix to get us through out fashionable days! Hehe!
BURNING the midnight oil just got a little bit easier for Northern Ireland’s leading fashion designers, as local coffee shop chain Ground Espresso Bar announced their support for the upcoming Unify Fashion Showcase taking place in Titanic Drawing Rooms tonight and Friday!
Voted one of the Top 50 coffee bars in the UK by The Independent newspaper, the chain is renowned for their commitment to sourcing all their ingredients from local suppliers and artisan producers, Ground Espresso Bars felt that the unique fashion event was a great fit as it showcases the creativity and talent in Northern Ireland.
Speaking on behalf of Ground, Dermott McGrath, Area Manager, Ground Espresso Bars said, “From the ingredients used to create our wide range of unique buns and tray bakes to our locally based tea and triple certified fair trade coffee, Ground Espresso Bars work exclusively with local suppliers and farmers to deliver high quality, home-made treats for our customers across Northern Ireland. Through our sponsorship of this week’s Unify Fashion Showcase we are again showing our commitment to developing local industry by supporting home-grown fashion talent.”
Ground Espresso Bars is one of my favourite places to chill, in fact I can be spotted regularly on one of their sofas in their Waterstones branch, catching up with my fashion friends and enjoying their yummy treats, so I'm really pleased to see them getting involved with Unify!
Guests to the Unify Fashion Showcase can expect to see a catwalk filled with the very best of local design talent and boutiques as well as receiving a gift bag including a special treat from Ground Espresso Bars. Yey!!
